Since Clan is far less important to Anarchs than The Camarilla, "Clan Anarch" is how some Anarchs cheekily answer the Clan question without revealing their clan. For some this is because they're actually Caitiff, or a rare or unliked clan, and are therefore playing their cards close to their chest. Others claim Clan Anarch in an "I am Spartacus" way to help other Anarchs blend in, or simply because they know it annoys Camarilla Elders.
