I've been down with a broken heart
Since the day I learned to speak
The devil gave me a crooked start
When he gave me crooked feet
But Gabriel don came to me
And kissed me in my sleep,
And I'll be singing like an angel
Until I'm six feet deep

Connais-moi, Aime-moi
If one were to capture the essence of a creature like the Wine Saint, one would be hard pressed. Most walk away with the impression of someone with an intense confidence and a quick temper. But those who watch them for longer than may be prudent would discover a creature of surpassing empathy. A quick word with someone powerful and beautiful will be a long conversation with someone others think nothing of. Music enthusiasts still puzzle over the apparent music dynasty which has been birthed out Pittsburgh's premiere night club, The Angel. The latest Face of this musical empire is Dionysus Vin Saint and the Cult of Dionysus. The new Indie rock sensation has been making their presence known on the East Coast, but deep within the Angel lies a history that spans last hundred years of American Music. Maybe if your very luck, or very unlucky, you may even hear the Angel sing.

- Arrive in Pittsburgh in 1890 with their sire. At the time they were using male pronouns under the name Gavroche Voix D'Ange
- 1927 The Ill conceived attack on the One Drop Casino relieves Dionysus of their sire, They immediately abandons all pretense of strict male presentation adopting They/Them pronouns, rejecting the moniker "Son of Discord" and adopting "Child of Dissonance".
- 1929 Gavroche opens a Caberet, Voix D'Ange. It was known for its broad acceptance of Performers of color, jazz, rag, and swing bands when many bars in the area were ousting them. As such the Voix D'Ange saw a boom during the depression where largely the low prices and mixed crowd allowed many a place the would not have had elsewhere.
- 1940s Gavroche returns to the stage under the pseudonym Chevalier D’Eon. Their career lasts only a short while before it becomes clear American entertainment is not ready to handle the androgyny
- 1950 the Voix D'Ange is rechristened as The Angel
- 1955
