Edith MCginnis is an heiress, socialite, and businesswoman who has extensive investments in the railroad industry. She controlled the Boston and Maine Railroad (later Pan Am Railways) through proxies for nearly a century before selling the company to CSX Transportation in 2022. She has generally avoided much involvement in Kindred politics ever since her attempts to gain influence in the Rochester Court were squelched by rumors of impropriety.
